Greetings,
I Just replaced the AC compressor on my 2006 ML500.
It used to cool in about 90 seconds. And then it broke down.
With a replaced compressor, it now it takes five minutes or about 1.75 miles. Also, now when it is Max mode trying to cool, the fan fluctuates low and high. When it does finally cool, it is fine and chilly as it should be. No temp issues.
Does anyone know why a new/retro fit compressor would do this?
Should I bring it back to my mechanic? If so, should (will) he replace the entire compressor to placate me?
Thanks in advance for any input!
Steve
