Hi!
So my 5 year old ML350 has suddenly decided to start idling at a higher RPM 750 when the AC is switched off and 900 when AC is turned on.
This doesn't happen initially when the car is switched on in the morning. But within 5 mins of driving the idling start rising on the higher side (all the way to 900 with AC on)
Since The service centre is not being able to find any fault.
They are suggesting I change the main transmission control. But I am convinced it's a small tweak that's required.
Any suggestions?

has the throttle been cleaned
has the throttle been readapted
has the Engine ECU (ME) been cleared of its adaptations
has eng been verified there is no vacuum leak
has MAF been verified its working properly
I have seen the plastic baffles in the intake break and cause issues. -- no check engine light either
verified coolant temp sensor is working correctly

Its hard to diag without knowing what dealer has/has not done.
not sure what the trans has to do with idle.
