What is "Service C"

Hey everyone,

I have an ML350. It says that I need a "Service C" done to it. Does anyone know what is done at the "Service C" stage? Details would be helpful. Thanks.

My SA said they come from A to Z.....I don't know why. He meant service C is for 26K mile.
In the manual, 26 K service is a regular oil change and some "checks", maybe a Star-Diag reading.

Depends on your mileage and age of ML...might also include transmission fluid change and brake flush

I am due for Service C @ 24k miles on my 2008 ML550.

SA says it includes the following:

Oil Change
Cabin Air Filter Replacement
Tire Rotation
Wiper Blades

Cost: $500 (I don't know if this is a good price)

its funny if you think about those paragraphs you outlined - $125 dollars per paragraph and you get $500. I think they allocate an hour for each job even if the job takes 10 minutes.
My father recently went to get his breaks checked on his cadillac. They told him the rotors needed to be replaced, the whole job was going to take 2 hours and cost $800. He then went on to buy new rotors ($100) and did it himself in 20 minutes for both! And he is not an expert mechanic in a highend shop with proper tools.
Go figure.

My ML has about 8000 miles now and just had teh A service done. It shows now that "C" service is due in 8000+ miles. Not sure why jumped from "A" to "C" directly.

Does anyone have a guide? I'm seeing Service A is needed. I haven't bothered to look in the owners manual yet, but I would imagine there is some info some place that says A is "this" and B is "this", C, etc. etc. like in the owners manual. No?

Just forget about the A-B-C services and do what the maintenance manual calls for--which is by mileage.
