I did do the install on both low and fog lights. On the fogs you won't need the special clips or any plugs, just plug & go. Will try to get some pics for everyone including pics of the car itself (just picked her up for the MRS last weekend).
On a side note, I may also have an extra set of H7 kit with 6500K bulbs if anyone is interested.
MY2008ML350, what happened? Are you going to do the HID conversion? It will look great to illuminate all that snow now with winter coming...
I'm still thinking if I will do it. I like the idea ; it's really great BUT I don't want to affect my warranty. So far, I did not have any problems with my ML (is that surprising ?) almost 20K km and will be a year old late November. I'm still probably old school -don't change if nothing's wrong. I'll probably start tinkering with th electricals next year. I saved all the instructions including all pictures that you posted in a separate file for future reference. Thanks

FOGS:
I took some more pictures but for some reason these are the only one that downloaded onto photobucket. I will post the other/better ones tonight.
The last picture is of your foglight cutoff line, right? If so, then I'm quite impressed.
On most cars, the foglights scatter light that often goes higher than the low-beam cutoff. And therefore, for most cars a HID conversion in the foglights results in horrific glare to oncoming traffic.
It seems that the ML's foglights are very tame and civil. The foglight cutoff line is certainly below the low-beam cutoff. Looks excellent!
