air filter/ fuel filter 2007 ml320 cdi

I was just wondering how to change out air filters for 2007 ml320 cdi. I believe the air intake boxes are mounted to the sides of engine with 2 torx screws. Does one unscrew the top two screws for each side and lift the black plasitic containers out?

Fuel filter.
Do the two small torx bolts just hold in the water sensor in the center of filter? and does the filter brace loosen by unscrewing the black bolt on the back or do you have to remove blue torx bolts holding bracket to engine?

Any help appreciated

I saw that post. They are mentioning clips and i only see torx screws. I am curious if you have to lift the housing out of the engine so to access air filter.
Thanks for your reply

I very very highly recommend you subscribe to and download and print out the Startek procedures or buy the StarTek CD's before attempting any maintenance on your ML. You will be very sorry otherwise and I can almost guarantee you will break something. The diesel engine information is available on line for the ML but last I checked you needed the R320 CD for the diesel engine. You will also need to buy the hand tools for removing the fuel hose clips and oil filter. Both are not cheap, but cost less than one dealership performed service. Good Luck!
