ebay is known for sellers auctioning bad key fobs. Also, the blade is laser cut and needs to be ordered from MB... no way around that. Finally, the keys need to be programmed at the dealer. Although this all may seem like a pain, it is all for the security of your vehicle.

Dealer is the ONLY source for new keys. EBay keys will not work and cannot be programmed. There are no other places to acquire a new key that will work. Do not know if you can buy one on line from a dealer but in most cases you must either be known to them or must present ID and ownership documents.
