Alacantra leather ???????

Does Mercedes have a product to clean this ?????? Simoniz makes a dry-cleaning product, that l use on the head-liner....it works like a charm..The product goes on dry..Thier hasn't been a stain, l haven't been able to get out...l'm wondering if it will work on the alacantra ????

Is Alcantara the same as Artico leather? If it is, then this is man made leather and may be better cleaned by a vinyl cleaner. Try Meguire's. If you go to the dealer, they will sell you a MBenz vinyl cleaner (made by Meguire's).

I thought Alcantara was some kind of suede inserts on the wear surfaces of the seat? Haven't seen it in real life.

Alcantara is a man made product and is very similiar to suede....good for vegetarians

Got Alcantara and leather in the ML and I love it. Does not slip like leather and does not get hot or cold like leather.
