Hey Ladies and Gents, I hope you all are doing well. My dad wants to add rims to the 06 ML500 he and I aren't sure which ones though. I would appreciate suggestions whether the rims should be chrome or alloy dosent matter whatever you think may look good post it up or give a link

! BTW it is a Obsidian Black ML500. Also please recommend the tires that should go with the rims. If you guys want to put up your personal mods that would be GREAT! Thanks again!

Your best bet is the rims you have.

Unless you install other Mercedes rims, anything else you install will be of lesser quality.

Mercedes prohibits installation of chrome-plated wheels, as they don't hold air. NASCAR, too, BTW.

My vote is for the ML63 20's rims. They look very nice, but you might have to add on the fender flare to get it right. I'll stay with Mercedes rims as it'll give it that "stock" but aggressive look. Conti' tires works for me.

Chrome would not be attractive, imho.

The 20" "Furud" 5-spoke alloy wheels from MB will be nice. I'm not sure if you're in the US and not sure if this option is offered there. In Canada it will cost you $3440 (that's only for the price of the light alloy wheels, tires and installation are extra). Pls. also check with the dealer if this will fit as these are for the ML550 (should fit I think).
