Did you change the command unit from the standard one to the video unit and if so were all the plugs and connectors already in place. Finally how difficult is it to remove this unit for a changeover?

Before the change i had the audio 20 on.The video cd's are played through my dvd player in the glove compartment, that is if you want to watch movies while on the go, and not just when stationary as standard equipment would do.To remove the unit is 15 minute job,1st time you do it,I can remove one now honestly in 5 minutes as simple as that.Once installing a new system you have to take it to the dealers for "star diagnosis".Check removing and other usefull staff at Mercedes Electronics upgrades, installation and retrofits
