My experience with this spring has been mostly positive. Camber adjusted all the way out is still not within spec. Ride quality is hard to judge since I have 22inch wheels, but handling is much improved. I do notice some harsh clunk in the rear when going over small dips but that could be the combo of spring and tire size.
I do swap my tires front to front and back to back (staggered sizes) every 10k as the inboard part of the tire will degrade twice if not more quickly than outboard.
Cost was steep at 800 to install but was done at Brabus Claus Ettensberger shop in Newport Beach California.

Thanks King-tut. I think that might qualify as a somewhat less than satisfactory experience given the harsh clunking and tire wear problems. But the 22's probably cause most but not all of the ride quality deterioration.

The clunk as I put it is at low speeds and happens with and without cargo/passengers. I am satisfied with this spring. I did expect a harsher ride when lowering any car/suv. I took the family (4 + niece) to Sea World (120miles away)last summer, and with 5 passengers full cargo in back and a large cargo box on roof I had no sag in the back and the ride quality was impressive to me. I expected bottoming out and reduced handling but none of that happened.

Kingtut - Thanks for the feedback on the springs, good info especially for those seeking a fairly radical setup (22" wheels, etc.). Ride quality for those on 22's is usually not a concern.
But for those of us with a more conservative setup (19" or 20" wheels) and using stock shocks, there will be a noticeable deterioration in ride quality caused by the combination of soft stock shocks and soft Eibach springs with limited suspension travel. Alpina (in earlier post) above did the back to back comparisons with a more conservative wheel/tire setup, and he noted the "annoying" ride change. Reduced handling and bottoming is not the problem fortunately. Although clunking unloaded/loaded and tire wear is not a plus either.

Any time you change your springs or shocks or both (preferable) you have two choices. The choice I hear most people want is improved handling maybe lower ride height without sacrificing ride comfort, a hard combo to meet. Second choice (mine) maximum lowering, stiffer/tighter feeling (no floaty feel).
Our choice's for shocks and springs are very limited compared to other models and makes of car's/suv's. I have used Eibach on other cars I own and had good results with them, so I went with them over Brabus (pricey) and had not heard of anyone using H&R springs yet. I don't think the "sport" line of Eibachs are softer than stock. I don't know the stock lb rate for our ML's springs so I can't be sure.
I am a spirited corner taker and if I want straight line speed I drive my highly modified 300zxTT but when I get in my family car I still want it to handle in a tight firm way.
I would like to hear more on shock choices for our ML's as that could get rid of my "clunk" which happens 1 or 2 times a week.
