Wouldn't most Dealers pay a person 80% of retail or more for a lightly used vehicle (5-10,000) miles. So that being the case, I'm assuming they have to pay more for a new vehicle.
No, the dealer does not get the car from MBUSA at 20-30% off retail, it's about 6% depending on the model. Yes, they pay much more for a new vehicle.

Approved for B5 (5% biodiesel.) In Europe, they make biodiesel from rapeseed instead of soy (like they do here in the US) so I believe they are approved for B100 in Europe, anyone from across the pond want to confirm that?

Awesome, danke.
OK, my insider tells me they are still deciding both about the service interval, either 15,000 or 30,000 miles, and whether or not it will be a customer pay, or free warranty service on the vehicles. We'll know more when any official bulletins come out ahead of recieving the vehicles for retail.

Hi, I have a used 2004 ML320. The dials on the air conditioning system all worked fine when I bought it in March of last year. Two months ago while the heat was running there was a puff of smoke and niether the heat or air have worked since. I took it to my shop and my guy said that the compressor was working but that for some reason the flap wasn't opening to allow the air - heated or otherwise, to come out. The dials are all working fine from what we can tell. Any ideas?? I live in GA and not having heat is like certain death!

What do you mean by not having heat in GA is certain death ?

I live in GA too and I seldom use heat .

Not having AC is certain death is probably more appropriate

Question

I'm having problem configuring the ML350.

Is it possible to have "leather" AND heated front and rear seats? I can't seem to be able to do so. It's very confusing, 'cause there's a stand alone option too.

Also, what's the difference between ARTICO leather and just leather? Which one's supposed to be better?

Thanks!

Sure, just choose the leather color you desire and the stand-alone heated seats option. I couldn't find anything on ARTICO leather, do you mean Alcantera Inserts? Those are suede inserts on the seatback and bottom. The bolsters are MB-TEX, and that combo is very rare. If you like leather, that's the most realistic option. Hope this helps!

Thanks, AZ Benz,

But the problem is that stand-alone option only has 'heated front seat' option, but I'd also like heated rear seat as well.
'323 heating package' is perfect but is unselectable if I choose leather over MB Tex. I have no idea why they would disable the heating package for anyone wishing to have leather. Is there any way around it?

Oh, and I searched for what Artico is, and it's an option for Canadian market along with leather. I guess it's just a fancy name for MB Tex.

As odd as it may seem, it does indeed look like you cannot have both. Weird eh? Oh well, the '08 C-Class doesn't come with memory seats, go figure!

In MB's infinite wisdom, you can't have leather & the heating pkg. because leather comes with the wood steering wheel. The heating package includes heated leather steering wheel. This is the reason that I went with MB-Tex, because I wanted the heated steering wheel. If they had offered this with leather, I would have gotten leather.
