How much for the option?
I assume that it includes the lift and not just the dadptive shocks.
I am interedted in the Bi xenon lights. I drive a lot on dark counrty roads'
Options for the lights?
Tires: run flats? no spare for an SUV? How far can I go on a run flat/
Could you check with yuor techs and see if the bolt and offset patterns are the same as on early models?
If so, perhaps I can get a used set and put on some decent tires. If no room for a spare, then perhaps my son could hold a spare tire in his lap or lash it to the front bmper.
As you can see, I have not been able to get much info from my local dealer.

Looks to be so, says, "Air Suspension w/Adaptive Damping System

Bi-Xenon looks to be standard

I've heard run flats, no bolt offset patterns yet to check.

Hahaha...creative. Just strap one to the roof.

If you order today, when is the delivery?
Reason I asked: got an order placed waaaay back late Nov for a 2008 C Class (sorry, I'm a bit off topic here as this is the ML forum), still waiting for delivery. Promised date is about 3 weeks from now.
Just want to compare delivery wait times in the US and Canada.
Is this some kind of trick to up sales for your dealership? The reason I ask is because, frankly, I think that most here have mastered the sales part - we either pay sticker or we get the best deal available. It's the technical stuff that bugs us mostly! And since MB is doing so well (read earlier post on subject) why do you think we care? I need credos!
So, here is my Q: what's the average age of MB buyers by model? Also, do you guys ever read those customer surveys we all seem obligated to fill out? Also, do those after purchase/service calls actually come from the shops or are they farmed out to some outlet in Beijing?

Ahhh, a cynic, I see. No tricks, I just thought that during the down times, and there are plenty between 8:30-12:00 and 2:00-5:30, I'd take the opportunity to answer questions. Let's face it, there are a lot of swindler car guys out there that give false info to further thier own self interest. I pride myself on integrity and offer my expert advice free of charge here to help you make a decision. I sell cars, yes, but nearly all of my customers come in through the front door, and then send me thier friends and relatives once they get a taste of the level of service I provide them. What's a credo?
Our clientele tend to be professionals and business owners, with a mix of professional atheletes who live in the area. They tend to be in thier late 30's to 80's, with the older folks moving toward the S class and the younger at the C/ML. Soccer moms love the R class, and divorcees go for a new CLK/SLK/SL convertible every time. I love them all, each encounter offers a new experience and conversation that leads to having a lot of friends in high places. I keep in contact through linkedin.com and have become a sort of gateway or node on a professional network. My customers find they have something in common with eachother and some have even begun business relationships they wouldn't have otherwise considered.
Yes, we read the customer surveys, and I have yet to recieve one that wasn't 100%. The post-purchase courtesy calls are not outsourced to Bejing, or Dehli, for that matter, we have a very nice older gal that places them from her office here at the dealership. If someone has a complaint about thier salesperson, she's all over that person to call and correct the issue.
I will be looking at the 2009 ML 320 Bluetec or maybe the 350 when it hits showrooms in a few months. When will be the best time this year that I can get a decent deal? I am assuming end of the year.
How much time does it take for 2009 ML to be delievered?
Simply put, if I place an order for 2009 ML in July, then when should I expect to receive the vehicle?
And is there a huge time discrepency between countries, like US, and say, South Korea in terms of build date and delivery? Because I'll be most likely ordering one from South Korea.
