Impressive June results in the US, despite a slow growth economy. C-class sales are still smoking.

Thanks for the response... Yup, they mentioned the "10 Employee Deals" but claimed they didn't apply to ML320CDI's... We ended up eating the "IRG Participation" but got the last 2 lease payments covered on the R class we are turning in...

That was correct information, I didn't bother looking it up at the time. Nice deal though!

I suppose it was a good deal but I've seen the DEPP Program and Master Drive Program for some of the other MB vehicles and most of those are much better deals... I just had a hard time with the thought of paying IRG Participation and Dealer Handling twice ( $825 and $498.95) in an employee deal... I guess I'm one of those "never satisfied" people...
Hi I am located in NJ, close to NYC. I am interested in buying a 2008 ML550, with P1 & 6-disc changer, black metallic (probably pewter also looks nice ?). Here's Edmunds info:
MSRP 58435, invoice 54407, TMV 52602
Question: What price do I expect to pay for the above config in NJ ? What should I ask the salesman ? Or will I still be able to get one ?
Technical Question: For the premium sound system, is there an audio-in input so I can plug my mp3 player ? Will it also play mp3 discs ?

In that case, bring the printout of edmunds TMV PLUS the sheet before it showing how the vehicle was equipped, and demand TMV. It'll make it easy for them to justify, and you'll save your salesman the stress. Everything should go swimmingly, unless your dealer is nutto.
I just picked up a 08 ML320 CDI today with P1, heated seats, Trailer, Ipod, 6-cd- retail was 52,380...I brought in the TMV print out and told them I wanted no more that due to the 09's are almost out and got for $48K+license($218). I'm happy camper!
