well here is my position....currently running around in an x5 (the 2002 model)
In about 2 years or less, more likely late 2009...
im going to buy a new car...
im currently decided between:
ML, range rover or scrap the SAV and go for a (used) SL.
So what you think i should do? i prefer mercedes, but just dont know what direction to go (car or SUV)....also why should i get an ML over a range rover?
You should take a hard look at the ML BLUETEC. Diesel is the wave of the future, and the ML won't break the bank at the gas station. Otherwise, go for the E320 BLUETEC, the best car in the world IMHO, I'm leasing one right now. Range Rovers are functional, nice, stylish, but you loose out big time on resale value. Plus, they tend to require more mechanical attention, if you know what I mean.
Any info on the pricing of ML550 MY09's base price and options? Also, is a leather dash going to be available? That is something I would really like instead of the rubber/plastic(?) dash now.

Dear AZ Benz, I'm toying with the idea of selling my '08 ML 320 CDI. Great SUV, but thinking of getting a convertible (I get these bugs) and wondering what I should ask should I decide to sell. Or, will I get hosed money-wise if I sell this early?? The truck is loaded (Black on black with Premium II, ipod, trailer hitch, 6-disk, Heated seats) and has around 14,000+ miles on it. What would you suggest I do as far as posting it for sale? Thanks.
I have a 2008 ML 63 and was looking at purchasing some aftermarket taillights. Although, the taillights specification on the aftermarket says it fits 06-07. I was wondering if they would fit though because from the picture it looks like it would? Any help would be appreciated...

I ask because if you're anywhere near California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Vermont; states who would not allow Mercedes-Benz to sell diesels per thier air quality rules, you should be able to sell the ML Diesel for close to what you paid for it on the private market. If you put it out there, you will find someone to snatch it up pretty quick. Don't accept much less either, especially if it's from an exporter who will ship it abroad and make $30K in the process. Hurry though, the '09 BLUETEC version is a fifty-state vehicle. If you're here in AZ, come down and see me for the replacement, OK?

Hi, I was wondering, my father purchased an 08 ML350 and I was wondering when the 09 ML350 comes out, if its possible to put the new COMAND system in the 08.
