MB-SV wants the clock to be digital on the Nav screen. I actually like the analog on the dash-works even when the car isn't on!
I also like the analog clock on the dash working even when the car isn't on. However, the digital clock in the NAV (when it's working) is so tiny no one else could possibly see except for the front passenger.
Actually an analog clock is quicker and easier to read than a digital clock. Just glance at it and you immediately know the time as opposed to a digital that you actually have to read. Aircraft are required to have a clock with a sweep second hand, ie analog. I have always disliked the digital wrist watches for the same reason as one must focus on it to tell the time.
Too bad the analog clock is exactly where the temp gauge should be. Might be okay in a Buick, but not a Benz. Analog clock could be nicely located like many Infiniti cars.

Have you seen the analog clock in the Buick Enclave? IMO, it's nicely placed at the center and can be seen quickly.
