As you just proved, wheel locks are more trouble than they are worth. I had them once on a different car that I kept for 8 years and I was always worried that I would lose the lock key, and a few times the mechanics wouldn't put it back after service. And then there is teh issue of stripping the thread on the lock...way too much headache to deal with. Unless you live in a bad area where wheel thefts are common, there really is no need for this
