Reason: MISSING DETAILS
My ML500 with Airmatic does NOT have such a vibration. What your dealer said in incorrect or you misunderstood them. I would insist that they find what it is and correct it. Could be an exhaust pipe not quite aligned correctly or a trans maount that is defective or not installed correctly.
I have no vibration in mine whatsoever. My airmatic rides smooth as silk. I had a similar problem in a vehicle a few yrs ago( non-Mercedes) and it turned out to be the driveshaft was out of balance. It also might be the tires not balanced properly from delivery as you dont have enough miles on it now to really be worn out of balance or perhaps you have thrown off a wheel balancing weight

At 6000 miles, the tires should be set and a rebalance is in order. It looks like you don't drive very much, so keep in mind that some tires will take a few miles to smooth out after the car has been parked for some time. The colder the weather the more time it will take. I would put my money on a balance problem. My air suspension ML is very smooth. Go straight to another dealer and don't take no for an answer!

Agreed, but try using a specialist high-end tire/wheel shop for the balance job. They can do it while you wait.
Often a balance needs to be redone on a new setup after intial balance.

THANKS ALL FOR THE INPUT. FURTHER ,I HAVE HAD THE TIRES BALANCED TWICE IN AN EFFORT TO ELIMINATE THE PROBLEM TO NO AVAIL.
I'VE GONE PAST THE DEALER NOW AND AM NOW DEALING WITH THE MB FACTORY REPS HERE IN AUSTRALIA, SAME RESPONCE FROM THEM. REALLY NOT IMPRESSED WITH THEIR EFFORTS TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. ANY FURTHER INPUT WELCOME
I would keep going up the line and start documenting my dissatisfaction and asking for MB responses in writing. What they are telling you is just not correct. After rereading your original post, sounds more like a driveline problem, and these can be tedious to resolve. Since they say "they all do it", I would demand they demonstrate that with any other vehicle on the lot. At some point, I would stop trying to resolve it nicely and make a total peat out of myself to the zone folks and MB in Germany.
