I am thinking of putting the CL / S 20'' amg wheels on the ML instead of the ML's 20 AMG wheels. Anyone know if they will fit? or have some photos with them installed? any thoughts?

These won't work unfortunately, not without some spacers at least. The offset is something like 35mm, which is significantly less than that of the ML's. Moreover, the tires are too small and would throw off your speedo/odometers.
Is there any problems/sideeffects in installing these with spacers?
I do not mind about their default tires being to small, since i will purchase them separately and have the choice on which tire to install.
The wheels in the Ebay link above are staggered. Meaning that the front and rear wheels are different widths. This won't work well or look well on an ML. There is a guy that has this look with a set of aftermarket CLS wheels on his ML but they are all the same width wheels and the offset is more appropriate for the ML.

I've the last 20" AMG for S on my ML (8.5J F, 9.5J R +43mm offset). They fit well and even looks more agressive than you expect.
No rubbing issue..... even I've the Eibach pro-damper that lower the OE sport suspension by 4 inches !!
OE 19" sport - 8J x 19, +60mm offset
20" AMG for S - 8.5J F, 9.5J R x 20", both +43mm offset
After mods.....it makes much safer & faster cornering
Front - abt 1" outwards
Rear - abt 1.5" outwards
It runs the tire Continental Cross Contact UHP, F/R tire size 255/50R20 that maintains both comfort and acceleration. I'd tried tire size 265/45R20 PZero Asymmetrical, but would comprimise comfort and acceleration.
