after a month, my running boards have arrived, ahead of the 8 week schedule. gonna do an install tomorrow....

just noticed, my boards are "shiny and mirror like" and it does not look like pics posted here which seem to be "brushed aluminum finish"????????

So, how did the install go? Any pix?
Thinking of fitting side bars when my ML arrives, so might be similar to fit. Any tips or advice most welcome.

i was about to install them when i noticed, its for a X164 GL class!!!! that explains why it had the polished look and not the brushed aluminum finish!!!! duhhh..... im having the replacement in 2 weeks. and it does take 4 hours total to install.
