Brabus Door Panel Leather Trim

I have decided to add some brabus products to my ML. I have ordered and yet to receive the chrome door lock pins. On tuesday night i picked up the led illuminated side skirts and leather door panels. Yesterday morning I dropped of the side skirts at my boddy shop to get prepped and painted. I then went to my installer to get the leather panels put on. I must say it really does enhance the look of both the door and interior as a whole. The install appeared to be pretty straight forward. The hardest part was to make sure the templetes the came with the kit were perfectly aligned. The kit comes with everything you need although the instructions were in german only. The kit includes the 4 panels, 1 templete for the front doors, 1 for for the rear doors. and a drill bit that has a wadded material on it so you only drill the holes in the door panel to correct depth. The instructions did not require the removal at all of the door panel. All in all it took maybe 45 minutes or so for them to be installed. My last and toughest decision is whether to get 22 Monoblock S's or Monoblock VI's. I like both wheel. What are your opinions on the wheels. Which do each of you prefer and why ?

The door panels look nice!!

Personally, my vote is for the Monoblock S. It fits the lines of the ML better.

I saw them on Mp Design Website:

MP Design & Technik GmbH

I asked them for pricing, but they referred me to their U.S. distributor Performance Products. I haven't called PP yet, but they aren't very responsive about special orders for I'm not holding my breath.

i did not pay the list price. I paid 1280 i believe for the 4 panels and about 40 bucks for one of my shops to put them on. The install is something you can do yourself. i don't know why i didnt do it myself in hindsight. The kit comes with a templete all you need to do is make sure it is straight and level and mark the holes with a sharpie marker. Once that is complete the kit comes with a drill bit with the correct depth marked off on it just drill out the marks and pop on the panels and your good to go.
