Hi Everyone I just got a 2007 ML 350, and don't get me wrong, I really like how for 2007 the ML 350's get the chrome accents on their grills standard, however how difficult/risky would it be to use some krylon for plastics spray paint to paint it silver? also, how do i remove the chrome strips as to make this all easier... anyone try this yet?
I know painting it might be "cheaper" I've heard you can buy the silver grill and the installation is very easy. I know I'm not answering your question, but hopefully its an alternative worth considering?
just buy the silver/chrome grille online, then sell your old one on ebay......earlier MLs have an all black grille...they would prolly get your stock grille for the right price...
proper painting would require primer...sanding...and the silver color on the grille is matt silver....i doubt you can easily match it with spraycan paint
