I ordered a 2007 ML350 on December 22nd with the 322 exterior package. That was the only available exterior package that was listed on the dealer's computer other than the AMG package. I now understand that MBUSA made a switch to the 333 M-Class sport package during the first week of December before I placed my order. I was just wondering if I would get the 333 package or the 322 package since my car will not go into production until the end of this month. I find it weird that MBUSA would make a revision to their packages and not update the dealer's options list. I have attempted to address this issue with my dealer and was given the excuse of "I don't know, since your car is not yet in production."
Any insight into this would help. Perhaps there are some people working with a MB dealer on this forum.
That does seem odd, your dealer should be able to verify what sport package to include, (state back, that you want to verify that the 333 package is your expectation, since as the dealer stated, it is not yet in production)
I order 333 package with my Ml350 07 on dec 18th, 2007. Dealer did not even know that this package exsist. After my arguments they did check MBUSA and place order. That order was accepted only on 12/26/07 since my dealer did not get approval for that package.
After I spoke to them I do belive that 322 package was slightly difrent and pricing could be difrent as well. Today they informed me that production has been moved to first week of March or later.
Good luck.
I just got off the phone with my dealer and I was informed that my car just went into production. Good news is that the order specs on the computer show that the 333 package will be included in place of the 322. YAY! So my guess is that MBUSA phased out the 322 package and the 333 took its place. I am also assuming that anyone else who ordered the 322 will get the 333.
Many thanks go out to the numerous people who took time to send me PMs.
