New ML 63

I picked it up last friday 2/2/07 I only put 175 miles on it over the weekend, and still in break in period.

today it is back at the dealer for some extra installs (PermaPlate, LoJack, etc), and then to the tint shop tomorrow, Brabus next month for lowering module.

only feedback I have is it Kick's Major Butt!!!!!!!!!! lol

I just got back from a 600+ mile trip (pulling my bass boat) I now have 1,200 miles, and lots of review/personel experience.


Although I have not done any redline 1/4 mile attempts just yet, My overall review is (It is the best vehicle/Mercedes I have owned)

Coming from driving the C55 for just under 3 years, I am not a Newb with AMG. so I do have a good baseline. in comparison

The ML Launches much better (all wheel drive hooks up great) but, the C55 seemed to pull harder longer. (might just be I have not really pushed the ML yet.

Cornering are also similar the ML performs much better then I expected, and with the Brabus Lowering Chip I think it will close that gap a bit further as well.

All the other things with the ML fit perfectly for what I was looking for

Similar Performance (Speed/Torque/Feel) of the C55
Comfort - longer trips, seating positions/access
Functionality - Towing... perfect for my boat
Room - I slept 3 of 5 days on my recent trip in the back, just enough room JUST.
new stuff - Parktronic/distronic/Folding/Mirrors
Off road - although I do not plan to do crawling/mud bogging/etc the ocasional dirt roads for lake access and snow play is fully adaptable to the ML, with room to play in those conditions - the airmatic is great on/off road
