Seat comfort?

Any thoughts on seat comfort like leather or alcantra,how about long trips?
Sat in a 500 ML, seat felt like a wooden crate.I'm in the process of ordering a 320 CDI.

My ML500 (06) is quite comfortable, even on long trips. I have full leather and the seats with all the pneumatic adjustments. I find it as or more comfortable than mt W211 E Class.

My ML500 with full leather is quite comfortable. If it feels like a wood crate, I dread what the competition feels like.

I have the 320cdi sport, with the alcatera; the seats are comfortable, however if you have kids, try and stay away from the alcatera, its a pain teo keep clean;

I dont have the bolstering system either BTW
