DVD version 2006.1 (MB part# Q6-46-0220) is the latest for your ML350. If you don't have it yet there is a campaign when it will be updated free of charge. The campaign number is 2006110005 in case your dealer is not familiar. It was just announced recently.
How can I find out what is the current version?
Thanks
Take the DVD out and look for the part number on it. The latest version 2006.1 Q6-46-0220 is about 6.75 GB with the usual updates and corrections. But may still not show all new roads or changes etc in some areas. Without this campaign the dealer charges $275 for it. The supplier is NAVTEQ in Chicago.

Is there a site where the latest navigation dvd versions are listed? Also, do you know if this recall campaign applies to the 2006 S class?
The service campaign covers the 2006 S-Class. The dealer will check that you have version 2006.1 (part number Q6-46-0216) and if not order a free upgrade for you.

I see that my truck has 2005 version of DVD and it was delivered in March of 2006
I called the dealer and he claims that my truck is not covered by this campaign according to VIN-Recall system
Wolfgang,
Can you please do us a favor? Do you have a scan of the recal campaign? I think my dealer just being lazy or not cooperative!
Thanks a lot in advance.

Would it make sence to call MBUSA and tell them that dealer gives me BS and I need this DVD update to be sent to me?
Would they order it direct for me?
Thanks
