my dealer reprogrammed my car thru star diagnosis during PDI for 6500 mile service intervals due to the severe driving conditions in my country (low mileage, city driving)

I have a 320cdi and dealer charged me $150 for maintenance at 12k. If you are paying $300 the dealer owns too many of his own vehicles.

I just had 13K B service done . It included oil change, rotate tires, check stuff,
fix vanity mirrow and wash. Cost $196 at local MB dealer. I also previously changed the oil at 6 K for $90 at same dealer

I want to move where you guys live. It might be cheaper for me to drive to Ohio and have the work done.

Just received an e-mail "special" price from my local dealer for an "A" service [which as we've seen is really a "B" service] - only $198.

According to the dealer the service includes:

Engine oil and filter change
Inspection of tires and tire pressure
Safety brake inspection.
Check and correct all fluid levels
Reset FSS Indicator
Inspection performed as per Mercedes-Benz maintenance schedule.

The service excludes:

Tax
And the dust filter is additional.

As I said earlier; a glorified oil change.

First 'A' at 7200 miles/11 months yesterday -- $330!

I am not racking up the miles very quickly -- only 7200 at the moment. But I've had the truck ('07 ML320 CDI) for 11 months, and I started getting the "service wrench" symbol saying i have only 22 days left, so I took it in to Mercedes of Annapolis. Their internet access was down again (seems like everytime I go there!) and it took them 2x as long as they promised to do the 'A' service. (Appointment at 8:15, truck not done until after noon). Oh yes, and they broke a plastic cover in the process and had to order a replacement for me.

The bill was $330 - $191 labor and $111 for parts. (9) quarts of Mobil 1 oil was $62.10 ($6.90 each) and the filter was $25.50. Then there was a "Oil&Gas Kit" at $14.90, apparently 1 windshield wiper (001-986-80-71-14) for $6.25 and a "Ring,General" (007603-012102) for $2.10. Do they only replace one wiper at a time?

I don't remember paying for the first oil change on my '99 ML320 -- must have been part of a promotion at the time. Or, perhaps because I bought the first ML in Annapolis as well as getting it serviced there? This one was bought from EuroMotorcars in Bethesda, MD. (Annapolis couldn't get me the one I wanted at the time, but EuroMotorcars had it in stock.)
In any case, $330 is a LOT for an oil change, even given using expensive oil and filters -- any reputable MBZ repair shops in Maryland -- DC suburbs?

Its only a 7 quart oil tank...... they charged you for 9?????

I would verify that they really did use 9 quarts and if your oil tank is 9 quarts.....

Also, I would never take it to Euromotors.. They just don't know what they are doing. I remember the third day I had my ML and I needed them to Redo the PDI they ended up denting my fender. I informed them to fix it and if they repaint it to provide me a new vehicle....
