Can I add the Airmatic over premium package II after delivery?
Hello,
I went to the dealer to buy 2007 ML350, but the dealer said if I want package III, it will take about three months to get deliverd.
My question is that if I can buy package II and add the Airmatic later?
and how much will it cost me?
Is that worth three month waiting?
I could have one that has package II + interior upgrade + lighting upgrade in few days.
What should I do?
I'm just guessing here but I would think that trying to order and retro fit OE airmatic would be an expensive add-on after the fact. There has to be so much integration into the rest of the vehicle for it to work properly. You'd probably just be better off to either...
A) Wait for the ride just the way you want it...
B) Add an aftermarket spring suspension package that best suits your wants and needs.
Sorry I don't have a better answer. Really the most knowledgable person to ask would probably be your dealer.

Agree--it would be prohibitively expensive, certainly more than $5k.
