Ipod Volume on Integration Kit

Just took delivery of my new 2006 ML with an Ipod Integration Kit.

The volume on my Ipod is 1/2 of the radio volume. So low in fact with windows open you cannot hear the stereo. Anyone know a solution to this?

If I hook the IPOD to my adapter that plays through the FM station it's fine. I paid $500 for integration and can't hear the thing?

As I mentioned in another posting, there might be a problem with your integration kit. It should take care of amplification.

Which iPod are you using? Is it the nano by any chance?
