Roof Rails, need help!!!

Hi,

I bought a plain ML about seven months ago and the car did not have the standard roof rails. about a week or so I purchased the standard roof rails from the dealer.

The dealer told me it was very expensive to install them around $800 just for installation.

I am planning on adding the roof rails purely for the looks of the car. I have no intention on placing any weight or tying anything on them.

Does anyone have an idea of how can I install them on to my car?? some kind of special glue or tape??? a

The old ones on the 2003 screwed in to the frame on the roll cage in the roof. I think these screw on also.
