Well it was a tough choice but I sold my ML500.
- I just felt that before I lost too much money, I'd rather sell now and wait for the ML550 or maybe fingers crossed, the ML63. I lost some $2,000 which was not a bad at all. The car had about 5,000 miles so got 6 months use of in my opinion a great SUV.
I am now in a Mini Cooper S which is my new toy for a while before..the new ML come out.
Guys congrats on those of you who bought MLs recently...they are great cars. For those just browsing....the ML is a great vehcile..you will be pleased with it.

Here is the latest info I have been able to gather about the upcoming ML63. It may help you with you decision about what to buy.
The ML63 will go on sale in the USA in August 2006. The base price will be about $75,000. I have not heard anything about an upcoming ML550. I don't know if Mercedes plans using the new engine on all future models. I know that at the www.mercedes-benz.de German website the 2007 SL500 is shown with the new 5.5 engine. The 2007 ML63 is also shown with prices (in euros) and options. I can't read German so it is a little hard for me to understand everything shown. There isn't a 5.5 ML shown yet.
Halo Guys, I just contacted ma dealer in Australia. They told me the new ML 500 engine can be ordered around june 2006 and the car will be delivered in October 2006. So i guess the new engine will be arriving soon.

I think it should be october 2007. But new SL with facelift gets all the new engines including 3.5L, 5.5L, 55AMG (517hp) and 65AMG (6.0L 612hp).
Interesting news is the naturally aspirated ML63 AMG comes with AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC.
