Does the 164 keyfob open/close the windows & sunroof? - Benzworld.org

That keyfob feature is pretty neat and I wish the 163 had it. Anyway, my 500 is doing very fine. Since the TeleAid problem was resolved, the truck has been perfect. 'Know what, apparently that salesman is not at Pohanka anymore - or, at least he shows up every once in a while, as i was told by one of the employees. Good riddens!!!

Hey "D"..that is a very cool feature....l had that on my 99 RX 300, just hold the unlock button for a few seconds, and down come the four windows...Great in the summer time, so the hot air can escape before you enter the vehicle....l'm not sure why, the W163, would not have had this....Heck..it was on my 99 Lexus....[:(!]

Had that on my 1997 Nissan Maxima. Opened the two front windows. Werid how Nissan had it in '97 but MB didn't have it on the ML till '06. Makes me wonder.

The reason for M.B not having it in the w163 is because the system didnt have a interior can w/ the DAS-2B locking system (and the 2 wire motor no safety feature on the pre face lift anyway)It started on M.B in the early 90's.Not all were I/R some mechanical via the tumbler switch.
