What I meant by roll at high speeds is: When I'm going 65 or more on a straight path, if I jerk the steering wheel to the left, I can feel the back roll (or delayed reaction). Don't know if I used the word roll correctly. It feels that the car is loose. I don't have airmatic. I thought by widening the tires, that would've eliminated most of it. My tire pressure is fine. I'm sure the car will be controlable in an emergency. Just thought it would improve.
Wider tires will have no effect on roll. What you're feeling is the mass of the body lagging the steering wheel inputs due to the lateral softness of the suspension, the relatively heavy vehicle weight and the high center of gravity. Unless you get into active suspensions, pretty much any modification is a tradeoff. More roll stiffness decreases independent suspension action. Larger anti-roll bars will be available at some point. This is from the ML63 press release: "...while larger torsion bar stabilizers at both axles reduce body roll when cornering at speed."

I guess I should not expect it be like my E46 M3,...but I might go with a little lower suspension, I feel that the ML is too high up.
Are there any lowered suspension available already?
phatml350, have you test driven other ML's to see if they feel the same to you? If they do, you sound like a candidate for an E Class Wagon. If you want your vehicle to handle like a car, then it is probably a good idea to get a car.

www.brabus.com
$1500 w/o airmatic
$1600 w/ airmatic
Installation and alignment are extra (anywhere from $300 to $600).
Brabus NA is in SoCal but they can give you dealers local to your area.

Thanks for the info Greg. I have no wish to improve the handling at this time. It just fine for me.

I know what you mean about comparing it to an M3. But it's a great vehicle if you adjust your expecatations. And wait for snow, then it will excel.
