Just go to your Profile/Preferences page and in the Signature Block below the model information you have, use the standard {img][/img] code at the beginning and of the URL for the image. The image must be posted on a web site somewhere..just open the image in a new window and copy the URL info and then paste that between the img brackets.
If it doens't work they may have a limit on the size of the Signature. If so remove some of the text in your signature and try that.

I ordered mine on May 1 and got it on August 8. It is fully loaded, comfort, lighting, entertainment, air suspension, sunroof, premium, 3-zone climate, parktronic, rear side airbags, Sirius, hands-free phone, navigation, ipod, wheel locks, mud flaps, wire mesh divider, even blue illuminated door sills. Yeah, I know, frivolous, but they give me a grin every time I open my door! [:I]
I ordered the spoiler, too, but for some reason the dealer didn't install it and I told them to forget it, because I was not going to have my car trapped in there for 4 more days!
If that isn't heavily optioned, I don't know what is-- I have no idea what the criteria are for delivery, but I would vote against the options being the problem.
Sorry you have to wait, I know the agony, I'd go to the dealer lot just to get a glimpse of one and get my ML fix![:D]
Mine is a similar spec to yours. I actually ordered around 15 may as I wanted to see the color choices in the brochure. It seems to me that the dealer inventory cars are coming in spurts and they too are late but not as late as the heavy spec ones.Could be a vendor problem. No one seems to know. Dealer offered me an inventory car to use and I declined as my current ML500 is just fine. I do know that I am not the only one effected by this.
Were you able to make any head way with the dealer today (Monday)?
I couldn't agree with you any more endodoc! A very, very, very long time ago I used to work as a salesman in a dealership; I know the tricks of the trade. [:D]
I think it may be time for you to start making a few calls to other dealers in the area and mention it in passing to your dealer. It did wonders in keeping the chatter and marketing push to a minimum at my dealer. In the end, I went with a dealer further away, but got much better service.
Well here is an update. Dealer phoned me yesterday, My ML500 is due to be built end of Aug and will be del about mid Sept. What happened was that the order entry clerk at the dealership made an error on the entry of my ML. She(or He) then tried to correct the spec but instead ordered another vehicle. Now the dealership has 2 with my name on both. The one the sales guy and GM were looking at when I was there last week was the second one. Told them I would take both if they were having a buy one get one free sale.

I also got good news yesterday on my R500. Estimated delivery is October 17th...scheduled to be built the first week in Oct. Only has to go Gulfport, MS for delivery.
