Leverage with the dealer?

It appears that GM has extended its "Employee Discount" program for another month, forcing both Ford and Chrysler to follow suit.

Please do not lecture/flame me on the quality of German cars. I'm European, I know. This however makes this a great bargaining chip. The MSRP for the Navigator Ultimate model has now dropped below $48k...

MSRP $57,795
Employee Price: $49,720
Cash Back: - $2,000
Your Lincoln Family Price: $47,720

I'm still going to go with the ML, since it's the size of a nice car, not a tank and its fuel consumption does not require ties to OPEC. I am going to use it in my negotiations however...

It's worth a shot, though M-B dealers realize most their customers do not cross shop the domestics (a generalization, I know).

Good luck. Its worth a shot but any serious dealer knows that the Navigator is probably not on your list of considerations. There is no comparison as you've already know.

I don't think you'll get less than invoice at best.

Let us know how it goes.
