Gas mileage

To all present ML 2006 owners:
What is the total miles/km that you are getting per tank of gas?

I have been getting around 12mpg on my first 1500 miles in local driving of my 2006 ml500.[:(]

Thats very low, I have been getting around 19mpg for combined city/freeway driving for around 600 miles

How many miles/km can you drive with one fill up?

On one fill up about 300 miles, that averages out to approx 12 mpg. the info center tells me that I am getting up to 16 mpg but as all is local driving I still end up with about 12 mpg.

I have 700 miles on my ML500 and I’m averaging 14.2 mpg combined. The Trip Computer which computes mpg has been no more than .3 mpg off (on the high side) when I refill, which I think is very good. I reset the Trip Computer “After reset� every time I refill the tank.

My ML350 is giving 22 on Free way and 15 to 16 in local with less than 1000 miles.

Well, I never cared about gas mileage but, honestly, I expected better from the new ML. :(

(Still waiting for the AMG version to make the final purchase decision. So far, ML is #2 on my list.)

ML 350 - Usually get about 450 miles on each tank (before the light comes on). Mix of highway & local diving. Since I got the vehicle (it has ~1,100 miles on it), I have averaged 19.6 MPG (per the dashboard computer).
