l had a blast at the Detriot auto show on the weekend. l ended up staying the weekend at the Marriot....nice place..enjoy the pics......Though, l have to be honest, the ML didn't do anything for me......their wasn't even a crown around it....My intial impression....l'll keep my ML...

Yes..."G"..l have more pic's.....l'm at work now..so l'll post them later tonight......No...l could not sit in the M-Class, nor the other 2 as well..lt was a little disappointing, to say the least...., though l could sit in the XC 90, the Cayenne, and the Land Rover, go figure....lt's hard to "drum up" interest in a vehicle, if you can't sit in it.....hence, that is why their seemed to be little interest in it...
I just visited the Detroit show. I'm now waiting at the airport to leave. Stuck due to the snow storm.
Anyway, my experience at the MB booth was a little different than C ROD.
I found many people hanging around the new ML and commenting on the looks. I was there for two days and visited this booth on many occasions. One of the things I like to do at the show is to watch and listen to other people's comments/remarks about the vehicles. Now don't get me wrong, there weren't as many people around the ML as the Ford GT or Mustang but there were some.
The new ML in my opinion is great. The looks and the materials are exactly what MB has presented them to us in the press release.
The reason the three on display were not open is they had to keep them in top shape for three other shows. Chicago, NY, and somewhere in PA either Pits or Philly. I asked this question several times to several different reps and got the same response each time. Sometimes I doubt their answers so I follow up later with someone else.
I have some photos I can share also but I'll have to do it once I'm home.
Overall I'm impressed and can't wait for the release date which isn't that far away.
