Here in Germany it is rumoured that Audi will provide a V8 diesel in the next generation Allroad....

Looking at the 2005 E320 it appears the price difference for the gas vs diesel is about $520 more for the diesel. Does history show us that the diesel is only that much more? I thought it was about $3000+ more.

I dont know where the "lack of demand" comes from
but I know about emmisions
and I know they have diesel versions in other countires, but not in the USA - and that is what I meant, VW announced that they will make Touareg, Audi said that they will be making one, so M-B finally decided to bite a bullet and make it happen or what?
