I have an SLK32AMG If you own one of these take caution !!!<br>
I hade a slight vibration in the rear so I took it to Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis, Md and they balanced all 4 tires. However in doing so the scratched ALL 4 rims with the lug-wrench. There is not enough clearance in the counterbore on the rims.
I know that the OEM is 55 each, and the auxiliary harness is rated at 150 total; but will changing the fuse be enough or should I keep a fire extinguisher handy? I am talking about the tear duct fog position, inboard of the headlights. Any other suggestions on bulbs/wattages to get more light out of these positions without adding fixtures?
Thanks.

I had 100 watt H3 bulbs in for about 6 months. They work okay. Nothing melted. Since I got external foglights, I swapped them back to 55 watts.
