First thing you should do is take it to your dealer and complain. Next, write MBUSA, post rants on all ML user groups, paint a lemon on the back window of your truck and park it on the street in front of the dealer where you purchased it, start posts about all of the other cars you've owned that never had a problem with fitting their manuals into their glove boxes, interject MB-brand bashing and petty gripes into other unrelated threads, and then gripe that the group is going to hell. Speaking of glove boxes, if the light ever burns out, consider starting a discussion about a factory recall and lament the lack of quality over and over and over [}:)]

Ah Mac, didn't you forget to inject the Chrysler metamorphosis? [}:)]
You are funny Mac! I like your spirit! I think I will make MB>
buy the truck back because of this issue. I think it is the least they can do. [:P]

None of my Acutoyondas or Lexends ever had any problems like this. They have large glove boxes.
Did you know that when I bought my TL RS G I asked about service and the dealer said, "Service? These cars don't need service. We don't even have a service department!"
Apparently you simply drive them off the lot. Eventually you pass the car on to a child, who eventually sells it when they want a different car.
That's why they have to change the body styles of their cars so often. The cars never wear out. They have to convince people to buy new ones based upon fashion trends.
My ML had bird droppings on it the other day.
I am going to douse myself is gasoline and set myself ablaze in protest in the parking lot of the Mercedes dealership.
