modification advise

Hey all,

Will the chrome bumper grille #163-1004 look good on a black mercedes?

And how hard is the installation for chrome headlight trim and chrome frame side turn signal indicators? do you have to remove the headlight and turn signal to install these? are they stickers?

I've heard a lot about the chrome tailgate handle cover, i believe there is a sticker version and a version where you change the piece correct? is one of these better than the other one?

and does anybody have a picture of all these chrome items on a black ML? thanks

thanks!

I have the chrome headlight trim, side marker trim and 3M stick on version of the tailgate handle. The fir two are simple to install. Just peel the #m tape and CAREFULLY stick. The chrome tailgate handle is just as easy, but the finished product is better with the full handle replacement. S4toML has the "real" tailgate handle replacement and a DIY posted for it. Here's a quick pic of the front end chrome trim Sorry, my ML's silver.

I think that the chrome on black looks very good, but that is really subjective. The question is do you like it?

I could not find the above publication so I made my own on Saturday when I changed out my rear hatch handle. I prefer the factory original to the stick-on version. But again that is a subjective opinion. Others may disagree.
