i just brought in my ml for service and the dealer

told me i have no isulation under the hood, do i need

this or not. how much is it.

l have it on my 1999 ML 430...Anything to help keep the noise out would be a benefit....

Otherwise the hood may get too hot and the paint may be affected.

I have owned 4 MB vehicles over the last 10 years all have included insulation under the hood, including my 2003 ML 350. It is there to quiet down the engine noise and keep it from entering the passenger compartment.

Let the dealer put it on they will have the right shape and type for your vehicle and it will make your truck quieter.
