I also have a pair of MTEC H7 x4. How do you like Osrams bulbs? Is Osrams better than MTEC? Does Osrams last as long as MTEC? Thanks.

I had H1's and H7's from MTEC. Hated them. Burned the H1's in 20 monited a returned them. The H7's had extremely flat light. The psuedo-xenon blue coating is crap. I have bad enough night vision already. The light offered no increase in visibility and less detail than the standard hologens.

I could not return the H7's since they were not defective. "satisfaction guarenteed" meant nothing and the $20 wasn't worth the fight. Ordered the Osrams and got a minor improvement. Cleaner light than stock, a little brighter but have only had them for a few months, so I cannot say about life.

If I could get the $$ past the wife, I'd buy the bi-xeonons today. But thankfully, she reminds me that the kids need clothes and toys more than I need $1200 headlights.

haha.... I see what you are saying. Pretty much the same situation here. I would get the bi-xenon if I'm "allowed" to [:D]

I got stock H1 and MTEC H7 x4. They are much whiter than the stock bulbs but not as bright. The packaging says the output = 150 watts. Not true. I'm disappointed [:(]
