BAS/ETS, Brake & Check Engine lights came on

[:(][:(][:(]Driving home saturday suddenly everything came on with lots of beeping. Stopped car and tried restarting but nothing doing. Then realized that I was now in Limp Home mode too and the speedo stopped working. Roadside wasn't much help except to say don't go over 3000 rpm as I limped home. Thank goodness I was in the city and crawled home (20 minutes).

Decided to limp the car over to the dealer instead of towing. When I started it this morning, car started with all the lights still on but decided that it would shift normally and that the speedo will now work. I'll assume the speedo shuts down when in limp home mode but if anyone know otherwise please tell me so I can tell the dealership. Only thing was that whenever it moved over 5 MPH there was a constant beeping from the dash. It's waiting to be analyzed now.

From what I've read it looks like it's the gear actuator on the transmission however if anyone else has an opinion I'd appreciate input and pricing of course. This is going to cost me since I'm out of warranty. In any case, at least they can perform the hose clamp recall work while I'm there and the creaking from underneath has been getting louder so I'll let them chase that down too.

Anyone else had this happen and what were your outcomes?

i'm almost certain that it's nothing to do with the mechanicals and all with the

electronics. A couple of weeks ago, I was in my E-Class and as I pulled into a parking spot at my local Lowes, those three lights came on flashing and an instruction came on the display telling me to go to my dealer immediately, and flashing 3 faults on the screen (the E-Class counts the number of faults and displays them). It was 9pm at night and I wasn't going to any dealership at that time. Anuyway, after I had my business done and restarted the car, no faults came up (it usually will redisplay the faults at every start-up). I drove hard and didn't notice any wheelspin, I stopped hard to activate the ABS and all was fine. What the #$@#!!!!!!. Talked to my SA, no clue. Adviced him to check all systems at next service in 5K.
