MY2000+ M-class illuminated door sill publication now posted....

Yes, I have just posted the final version of the the long awaited tech publication. As you will all see, the level of details that I wanted to incorporate, as well as the extensive number of pictures, was why it took a while (a few hours actually) to organise and write up.

Note that my publication is for the MY2000+ MLs only. Refer to Benza's publication, also cross linked in my write-up, for MY1998 and 1999 MLs.

*************.com is the place to go for the illuminated door sills. Please follow this link for pricing, etc.
http://www.*************.com/mb_resu...or+Sill+Covers

If there are any mistakes/typos that you discover, please feel free to let me know.

Without further delay, here is the link to my publication. I should also add that I also cut out clear plastic film covers for each of the door sill plates, so that the metal will not be scratched up over time when the sills are stepped on.

WOW Drew, what a great publication !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............

Once again you've delivered above and beyond. I read the pub a few times and it sounds like I'm probably gonna need some help with this one. I'm sure I can handle it myself, but it would probably be much easier with an extra pair of hands. Drew, once again thank you!

then I'm glad to be able to help and my "work" is done [:)].

Well you can actually do it yourself pretty easily. The only part which will require a bit of assistance is fitting the long plastic trim piece. It can be done by one person, but will simply take a little bit longer since you'll have to align the front and rear portions around the rubber seals by yourself, instead of simultaneously.

We'll be doing the C320's sills next, when he has some time to come by and help me out on a weekend.

BTW, I altered and ammended a few minor things in the publication just a few seconds ago. You might want to have a quick glance through it again at your convenience [:D]
