Actually, it's not a fake. It was sent back to Rolex and fixed and he still has it to this day. Don't get me wrong, he loves his watch, it's just that's exactly what the guy at the place said to him when he brought it back not working.
PS. He also say's his $200.00 Seiko keeps better time than the $17,000.00 Rolex [:0]
Well Quartz watches will always be more accurate then even the most expensive mechanical watches..
Personally a rolex just isnt my style unless it was one of these SS Daytona's
But those are financially a little while away
Right now i have my Movado Esperanza which IMHO has the best looking bracelet on the market and i love..
And i have one of these which i bought becuase i wanted something with a black face to it and something halfway sporty looking
my parents bought me this the james bond watch. i have to say, they should of gotten me a $20 watch from the Wiz or something. Listen to this, Omega watches that have the auto charge no needing new battery thing always run 5 minutes fast in one month. So every month I have to change the time 5 minutes slower. Also the freaking date is always wrong!!!! The watch doesn't know how many days there are in the months. So I always have to adjust that too. =P What a pain. I wish my James Bond watch came with a super laser that can burn thru 5' steel walls. :D

In Canada - they start with the basic watch at about $4000, that would be a stainless steel model without a date. The submariner is about $10000 canadian, but sells down in Cayman islands for about $5600 US. The daytona starts above that, and if you want something with a lot of diamonds you are looking at 6 figures. Saw one listed at $312,000 canadian. Very nice, maybe a bit much.
Many pateks are running $40 to 50K US.
Omega's are available at Costco, for a couple G.
