I'm going to start a new thread on this. Why you DONT OWN a rolex if you own a Mercedes
A few years ago a friend of mine bought a $17,000.00 Rolex with all the bells and whistles (Gold, a few diamonds, Waterproof to like the depth of where you could find a Giant Squid, etc.)
Anyway it was the picture of BLING!! [8D][8D][8D]
He had it for 1 month and it stopped working [:(]
So he brought it back to the place he had bought it from, and the first words from the mouth of the guy at the store was: You didn't get it wet, did you? [?][?][?]
So apparently, he spent $17,000.00 on this watch and can't even walk in the rain without carrying a Rolex Umbrella.

i don't think it would be worth having one of my own, first it's not my style and second...

Instead i just purchase a tag heuer watch for special occassions and a swatch for everyday used. i sure would love a rolex watch, maybe when i get a little older.
so I can not compare. It is really easy to operate and it works quite well. After install in took only minutes and we had 7 satellites locked on. There is also a sexy voice with slight accent to guide you. I would post some more pics but, it is pouring rain here today ugh. For only $1300 installed I feel like it was money well spent. Only problem with my 1999, is it did not have a speed pulse so it added $300 to the cost. Still I am happy with the outcome.
