Who makes the ML OEM shocks..? Are they KYB GR-2 Gas Shocks..? I can't find any info on where to buy them (outside of the dealer) or what are the needed models..

Are they different for the 320, 350, 420, 500, 55 ? The Bilsteans seem to be the same for all of them. I thought MB mention that the ML OEM shocks where custom tune to each model..? If so, anybody tried/know how will be the ride if we used other model tuned shocks..?

I really want Bilsteans, but for now I just need to change the front shocks, so I may be getting the OEM for now...

and also the aftermarket Bilstein brand. Bilstein front shocks have been used as satifactory replacements by many present members of this forum.
