Just installed the MTEC H3 HID Super White Fog Light Bulbs
I just installed the MTEC H3 HID Super White Fog Light Bulbs. Compared to the Stock Halogen's it's a very big difference! The MTEC's are much Whiter with a very little hint of Blue.
They get the Yellow Out!
Nice Match to the Bi-Xenons.
I like! [:D]

Foglights are supposed to be yellow. Yellow cuts through the fog better then white or blue because the wavelength of the yellow light is longer (slower) than the others.
As for MTEC bulbs, I hope you are prepared to buy new bulbs soon.
When you do, get your self some Philips or Osram bulbs from www.powerbulbs.com
I prefer the Osram all-weather since they are the most yellow of the two.
Actually Yellow fog lights are not better than White. Fog will reflect any light color and Yellow light cutting better through Fog is not correct.
I also did some research on the MTEC's which included a friend that has them in his Audi (Headlights) for the last 8 months with no problems and considering that these are just Fog Lights (and NJ doesn't get that much fog) I would have to beleive I would get more than that.[:D]
If interested here is some info on Fog Lights: http://www.vclassics.com/archive/lightprn.htm

I would rather give you information from the Philips website to state my case.
Allweather bulbs
http://www.eur.lighting.philips.com/automotive/eur/html/products_allweather.html
It has been proven that yellowish light reflects less light back to the drivers eyes (from the road and spray) thus improving visibility in bad weather conditions and enhancing safety and security.
I would say that also, if I wanted to sell Yellow Fog Lights but the truth is that statement is as False as George Washington's Teeth. Here is info from the Alaska Science Forum on the subject of Yellow Fogs: http://www.gi.alaska.edu/ScienceForum/ASF5/593.html

I had the H! and H7 MTEC's in for 15 minutes and hated them. I found the superwhites substandard to say the least. If you bought yours from PErfect R off the 'net and had a good experience, be thankful. One of the H7's I purchased blew in 5 minutes and since I was unsaftisfied with their performance, I returned them. Only to receive only 50% credit via Pay Pal.
I ordered the Osram's from Powerbulb.com and few weeks ago and am looking forward to a better experience.

Sold the Honda Pilot for a F-1250 SuperCrew
but still Got My Eye on Benzworld.org.
I would say that to if I wanted to sell Yellow Fog Lights
They also sell white bulbs. I would trust a bunch of German Engineers over a University student paper anyday.
Why do you think all highway lighting is yellow/amber? The light color actual makes it easier to drive at night, cuts through the fog, and casts less shadows than white light.
Maybe our Lighting Guru can shine some light on the subject? You out there Drew?
