Ok, I got the Comand unit, Now what?

I am going to need some help to install this baby. I know I need some cables, but don't know exactly which ones yet. Also I need to know about the antenna, and any other cables, spliters, adapters, plugs, etc to make it work like a TV/DVD/PS2 monitor.
I am trying to get it installed if it is too complicated, but I am willing to try myself.
Suggestions?? Links?? Pics?? Tips??
BTW, I am not selling the truck yet. Just changing service places, or do it myself if I can.[:)]

Al,
I will have an used MCS unit (no navigation) along with a non fiber optic CD changer from a 2000 ML for sale this weekend. I am installing an Euro Command unit in the truck and no longer need the MCS. I was gonna put it up on Ebay, but if you want it, I would sell it to you at the right price. Please email me at: david.wang@us.hsbc.com if you're interested.

Dave

Al, NO nav drive, just the MCS unit itself. Email me with an offer if interested. Thanks.

David:

I saw your post on BenzWorld and would like to know what is the part # if you are still interested in selling it?

Thanks,

Hook up with Steve to see if he can do it for you while he in LA for Euro Command installation. You will need to modify your harness(switching wire) and GPS antenna to get it working.

As for PS2/DVD You need to get the RGB cable to able to hook-up DVD or PS2, get this from Steve also it around $250 and currenly on back order.

Other option is waiting for Steve finish my(the end of Feb)and I will give you some instruction.

I checked with Steve... he does not have time to install COMANDs this trip, other than the ones that have already been scheduled (well, the ones that he brought over).

Plus, if this is the COMAND you got...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3002671520

There's about ... oh... ZERO percent chance that this will work in an ML.

Oh no, I thought you bought the Euro Command not the Command from G500. For sure it not will not fit into ML slot, forget what I said earlier.

Hey Scorchie, I hear you already received the shipment from Steve for the Command install in N.Cal.
I can not wait for my Command and Bi-xenon.

Tony[:)]

p.s. Is Steve will do the installation at your place?
