I have a 2000 ML320, wondering if I can install a CD player behind the LCD. I already have the standard 6-disc changer in the rear. Thus, perhaps the player behind the LCD would be disc 7?
Also wondering if I can upgrade my changer to support MP3 playback.

Ebay.com would be your best bet for cheapest pricing, however, there is more risk. You dealer will cover the CD player under a warranty for a year, remember that when the price is higher.
As for MP3, no go. But it does play burned CDs with wav files, so you can atleast make your own music.
Sounds like a good option for MLs with the 3rd row seats
With the RH 3rd row seat folded up it can be a real pain to access the changer: Lower the seat, undo the clips, take out the panel,remove the thumbscrew, swing out the changer, etc, etc.
If anyone one finds a good deal please let me know.
